Any member can propose a spend from the DAO treasury. Includes purpose, amount, recipient, milestone structure, and escrow conditions. Approved funds lock into a Solana escrow program pending delivery.

Policy Change

Proposals to alter DAO parameters: quorum threshold, membership tier structure, Baraza AI agent behaviour, fee rates, or treasury management rules. The most powerful vote — changes the rules of the game.

Project Launch

Spin up a new DAO initiative — a product, programme, event, or working group. Allocates budget, assigns a lead, and creates a public accountability thread on-chain. Automatically posts to the Marketplace.

Signal Vote

A non-binding, off-chain directional vote to gauge community sentiment before committing resources. Low quorum. Fast. Used for temperature checks before drafting binding proposals.

Proposal Submitted

Any NFT membership holder can submit. Baraza AI automatically summarises and categorises the proposal for the community.

Discussion Period

48-hour discussion window. Baraza AI tracks sentiment, surfaces key arguments, and flags conflicts with existing DAO policy.

Voting Opens

Members vote weighted by NFT tier × tenure multiplier. Quorum threshold must be met. Voting period: 72 hours by default (configurable).

Execution Lock

On approval: 48-hour time lock before execution. Allows the community to challenge if irregularities are detected. Baraza AI flags anomalies.

Auto-Execution

Smart contract executes automatically at lock expiry. Funds transfer, parameters change, or marketplace listing publishes — all on-chain, no intermediary.

Merit earns influence. Time earns trust.

Your voting weight is determined by two factors: your NFT membership tier (which you earned or purchased) and your tenure multiplier (how long you've been an active member). This prevents plutocracy while rewarding commitment.

Vote Weight = NFT Tier × Tenure Multiplier
